2 Corinthians 6:10

As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.
2 Corinthians 6:10

Have you ever heard someone say something that seems to be a complete contradiction? In fact, you may have read this verse written by Paul in 2 Corinthians 10 and thought the same thing. How could someone be sorrowful, yet always rejoicing? How could someone be poor, yet make many rich? How could someone have nothing, yet possess all things?

These are valid questions, yet the answer isn’t necessarily in words but rather in perspective. What Paul is talking about here is the difference between the world’s perspective and the perspective of those who are in Jesus Christ. When you add Jesus Christ to the equation, everything changes.

Though Christians may go through times of sorrow, they can always rejoice in Jesus Christ. Though Christians may be poor, they make many rich by spreading the good news of God’s Gospel. Though some Christians have nothing, they possess all things because Jesus Christ is everything.

“If you lose everything but gain Jesus Christ, have you truly lost anything?” a pastor once said. Jesus Christ is everything and no matter what happens to us in this life or what we may lose, if we still have Jesus Christ, we have already won.

Prayer:

I ask that You guide me in this truth in my daily life. Help me to realize that it isn’t about what I have or don’t have but merely about the fact that I received your only begotten, beloved dear son Jesus Christ as my Saviour and Redeemer and that Jesus is everything I will ever need in my life. Thank You for being my Saviour and Redeemer and for the many blessings that I receive  very happily, grateful and blessed every day. I pray this throughout the mighty glorious name of Jesus Christ. 1 John 3:18

Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; “1 Corinthians 13:6′

What we call love has been a watered down shadow of the real thing. How do we know? Because the Bible teaches us the true marvelous righteous Word of Gods infinite love.

Love is not complicit in wrong doing. When you think you love somebody by defending their misdemeanor, that’s not love. No matter what, love will not tolerate even the slightest appearance of evil but will always strive to maintain the truth.

Now, to the more fearful parts: “Love bears all things”. For the original meaning of the word used here, to bear means to suffer. Does your love believe everything good about your brother, sister, or partner even when they’re wrong? Love hopes for all things. But does your love hope that people will be better people tomorrow, regardless of what they do today? Love endures all things. But can you endure and patiently suffer the wrongs of your loved ones even when there seems to be no end in sight?

This is the passion of love. To love is to suffer. It literally was Jesus Christ experience for loving the world. If the Almighty dear Heavenly Father remains broken by our sins, but Jesus is always ready to forgive, then we must also be willing to love while we patiently forgive.

We must recognize the difficulty of love and not deceive ourselves only with the flattery of words. 1 John 3:18 says, “My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.”

Dear almighty Heavenly Father, thank You for the privilege to love and be loved. Although I am deeply aware of my weaknesses, I pray You help me to give me pure, divine love to not only those who love me, but to those who don’t. Help me to suffer willingly and patiently for the love I give. I want to love in its fullness, so help me put myself aside and love like You do Lord. I pray this throughout the mighty glorious name of Jesus Christ. Amen

Much LoVe, JoY, Peace and Blessings through Jesus Christ, our infinite loving, wonderful, dear caring Lord Saviour and Redeemer, in who we faithfully abide, trust, believe and abundantly do receive throughout His marvelous righteous Word and His truth fulfilling Holy Spirit.

Genesis 2:24

Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. Genesis 2:24

The mystery of marriage as Paul explains, is one we should learn from the union between Jesus and the church. As Paul reveals, the institution of marriage did not begin on earth but is a sort of future reality God brought into man’s experience (read Ephesians 5:22-33). When God made man and woman, He had something in mind. He planned that the two (though separate entities), through the mystery of marriage would attain spiritual unity.

Nevertheless, there’s a part of the statement we may miss when we read this text through the lens of familiarity. Yes, God says the two will become one, but only if they hold fast to each other. This is the secret to becoming one, which means a unification of spirits. This translates to oneness in everything that counts; oneness of the flesh. Without the realization of the unified man and woman, it’s not really a marriage.

Marriage is a big decision. A man must come to the great decision of leaving his father and mother, and so must the woman. This may also figuratively imply an independent stance, where the man and woman cling to each other and find completion in their union. Of course, they don’t become estranged from family and friends but now have a new order of priority putting each other above everything else but only second to God.

Prayer:

Dear almighty Heavenly Father, thank You for the institution of marriage. Thank You for Your wonderful plan that we can unite throughout you’re will. Lord, we ask for the grace to hold fast to each other every day, no matter the challenges that come our way. Grant us the grace to make our marriage the perfect picture of what You intended. Please give us the wisdom to navigate the currents that fiercely try to devastate our love, joy, and peace. We offer everything to Your wise leadership, because You alone can make it perfect. In Jesus’s mighty name we pray. Amen.

Jeremiah 17:14

Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise. “Jeremiah 17:14′

One of the biggest challenges of our world and the human existence is the limitation of transience.

When people make money, sooner or later, they need to make some more. When people buy a car, they soon need to make repairs or even plan for a new one in a few months or years. The same goes for clothes, electronics, etc. Nothing lasts forever in the human, mortal space. This is the limitation of our world. Hence, a contrast that clearly draws a line between God and man.

We constantly strive to improve formulas and strategies to achieve immortality due to our limitations. But our almighty dear God is not faced with these limitations. He is omnipotent. When God heals, it stands as healing forever. When God saves, His salvation cannot be compromised without His permission. As humans, we lack the power to keep things as we plan them to be. But this is not God’s experience. When He says a thing, He has the power to make it happen exactly as He intends.

God is our healer and our Saviour. He intends to save all mankind not only from the destruction of the soul but also from the destruction of the body while on this earth. God wants to heal and restore you and save you from everything threatening your life. He will do this to the praise of His glorious name. He will do this because He is good and always desirous of His servants’ prosperity.

God loves you and cares for you. If you’re trusting Him for healing in your body or from any affliction, He will do it and it will be permanent. If you’re trusting God to save you from a bad situation, He will do it and make it permanent. God is good and all His acts are permanent in your life.

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your goodness and mercies. I thank You that all You plan to do for me are good and permanent. I thank You that You will heal me and save me from every destructive reality that can affect my soul and body. You care for my life and You will do only good and perfect things for me. You know me and love me. I will praise You for the good things You do now, and those You are about to do for me and the many dear hearts and soul in this world. I pray this throughout the name of Jesus Christ our wonderful dear caring Lord and Saviour… Amen.

Psalms 104:33

I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. Psalms 104:33

This verse is a song of praise to God, the Creator of all things, recognizing His power and wisdom in sustaining the earth. The psalmist marvels at how the Lord established the world, causing the earth to stand firmly, and how He fills the world with His creations, including the animals and human beings. The verse is a reminder of God’s sovereignty over the universe and His providential care for all of His creation.

The psalmist is aware that our unwavering trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as our everlasting hope and source of strength will result in the constant reverberation of our joyful praises throughout the universe and into the eternal ages. With the accompaniment of all the celestial beings, our voices will unite in a ceaseless procession of reverence and eternal celebration of the Almighty Heavenly Father.

As His redeemed children, it is fitting for us to emulate the attitude of gratefulness expressed by the joyful psalmist. Our hearts and voices should be raised in a continual offering of praise to our Lord Jesus Christ. It should be our duty to honor and rejoice in the Lord at all times and sing from His praises throughout our lives, for we have been saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, both in this present time and for all eternity.

Prayer

Dear almighty Heavenly Father, I offer You my heartfelt thanks for Your everlasting infinite love and strength. I rejoice in Your presence and Your greatness, and I am grateful for Your sacrifice that has saved me through faith in Jesus Christ. I will sing Your praises and offer You my sacrifice of praise always, for You are my hope and my everlasting joy. May my heart and voice always be lifted in worship and adoration to You, because You are my Lord of Lord”s, King of Kings of all creation. hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah I pray this throughout the mighty glorious name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Hebrews 1:11

They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment; “Hebrews 1:11”

This verse speaks of the eternal nature of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. It highlights that while the physical world and all that is in it will one day pass away, Jesus will remain forever. This verse reminds us of the hope and security we have in Jesus Christ, as we are united with Him and made a new creation in Him. Through faith in Jesus, we have the promise of an eternal future with Him, in a new heaven and a new earth.

As believers, we belong to a new creation in Jesus Christ. We have transitioned from death to life, from guilt to grace through faith in Jesus. It was through God’s mercy that He sent His only dear begotten Son as the atoning sacrifice for our sins. We were made part of this new creation when we put our faith in Jesus Christ and His death provided us with new life, redeemed life, and eternal life.

The current heaven and earth will eventually fade away like a garment, but Jesus Christ, the everlasting and living marvelous Word of God, will endure forever. As His people and sheep, we are united with Him and made new in Him. By His grace, we will see a new heaven and earth, as the first ones will pass away.

Prayer

Dear almighty Heavenly Father, You are the eternal, living marvelous Word who will remain forever and ever. I am grateful to be Your child and have Your Spirit living in me. Your grace has made me a new creation in Jesus Christ, and I trust in Your promise of a new heaven and a new earth. Thank You for always being with me and guiding me through this temporary life. I pray to live in a way that brings honor and glory to Your glorious fulfilling name. I pray this throughout the mighty glorious name of Jesus Christ Amen.
