The garden of Eden – and the disobedience of Adam and Eve.

Genesis 2:8 – Genesis 3:24 GOD HIMSELF MADE for Adam and Eve their first earthly home. And a beautiful home it was. We shall call it a garden-home. God chose a place from which four rivers flowed and there He planted a large garden. We do not know the many kinds of trees and flowers and vegetables and grasses that he caused to grow in this garden. But we are sure that no park which man has made could be so lovely as was the Garden of Eden. In the midst of this garden God planted a wonderful tree, called the tree of, life. Whoever might eat of the fruit of this tree would live on and on forever.       Adam and Eve were very happy. God had given them good things to enjoy, and they knew nothing about evil and wrong-doing. They often talked with God and listened to His voice as he walked and talked with them in the cool of evening time.       God desired Adam and Eve to prove their love for Him, and for this reason He planted in the beautiful garden one test-tree, called the tree of knowledge of good and evil. “Of the fruit of every other tree in this garden you may eat,” God had told them “but the fruit of this test- tree you must not taste. If you do, you shall surely die.”       We do not know how long Adam and Eve enjoyed their beautiful garden-home, but we do know that one day a sad thing happened. Sin crept slyly into this lovely place. It came first to Eve. She heard a voice and saw a serpent talking to her. She was not afraid, because she had never known fear. So she listened. “Has God said that you must not eat the fruit of every tree in this garden?” the serpent asked.       “We may eat of every tree except one,” Eve answered. “God has told us that we must not eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, lest we die.”       “That is a mistake; you will not surely die,” the serpent replied. “God knows that if you eat fruit from this tree you will become wise to know good and evil, as He is wise, therefore He has forbidden you to eat of it.”       Until this time Eve had not touched the forbidden tree, but now she looked at its fruit and thought that if it really would make her wise, like God, she wanted to taste it. Soon she yielded to the temptation and plucked the fruit, and then she gave some to Adam, and he too ate of it.       At once Adam and Eve knew what a dreadful thing sin is. They knew they had disobeyed God. A strange something stole into their hearts; it was fear. How afraid they were to meet God! They had never been afraid before, but now they tried to find a hiding-place among the beautiful trees in the garden. Their hearts had become wicked.       Soon a voice called, “Adam, where are you?” and the frightened man answered, “Lord, I heard your voice and I was afraid, therefore I hid myself.” “Why should you be afraid to meet me?” God asked “Have you eaten of the forbidden fruit?” Then Adam told God that Eve had given him some of the fruit and he had eaten it.       “What is this you have done?” God questioned Eve. And she told God what the serpent had said. “I listened to the tempter and then ate of the fruit and gave it to my husband,” was her sorrowful confession.       God was grieved because Adam and Eve had failed to obey Him. Now He knew they could no longer enjoy his presence with them, because sin had spoiled their lives. They were no longer fit to live in the beautiful garden home He had made for them. So He sent them away out into the world to make a home for themselves. And He placed an angel at the gate of the garden to prevent them from coming back to eat of the fruit that grew on the wonderful tree of life.       To Eve, God said, “Because you listened to the tempter’s voice and disobeyed me, you shall have pain and trouble all the days of your life.”       Adam also received a sentence of punishment from God. No longer should the ground yield freely of the fruits and vegetables which Adam and Eve ate for food; now Adam must work hard to keep these things growing. And he would find that weeds and thorns arid thistles would grow in his fields to make his work even harder. Then by and by he should grow old and feeble, and then he should die and his body would again become dust as it was before God created him. All these sorrows came because of sin.       But while God drove Adam and Eve out of the beautiful garden, He at the same time gave them the promise that He would send a Savior to set human free from sin and death.

SYMBOLISM – BIBLICAL COLORS AND THEIR MEANING.

Biblical Symbolism deals with the biblical use of everyday objects to symbolize spiritual truth. Jesus ‘ teaching was full of symbolism. He presented Himself as a Shepherd, a Sower, a Bridegroom, a Door, a Cornerstone, a Vine, Light, Bread, and Water. He likened the kingdom of heaven to a wedding feast, a seed, a tree, a field, a net, a pearl, and yeast. There are dozens, if not hundreds, of other symbols in the Bible. When God appeared unto Noah after the flood,

and placed a rainbow in the sky; he did much more than show him a phenomenon. In the seven colors, beginning with red and ending with purple, God was displaying a natural miracle that demonstrated the complete redemption of man.

BIBLICAL COLORS AND THEIR MEANING;

In the world of art, we have three primaries; red, yellow and blue. These cannot be formulated by mixing. They come from the earth; but with these three colors, and the addition of black and white, any shade of the ctru can be obtained. Herein lies a thought provoking, scriptural principle, for in red, we have a Hebrew word ” OUDEM” which means “red clay.” It is the root word from which we get Adam, Esau, and Edom; all of which speak of flesh. So at the very

outset, we have something that cannot be created or controlled by man. An exact counterpart of our first primary color in nature.

Red: Blood of Jesus (Ephesians 1: 7), love of Christ (Romans 8: 35-36), blood of the Lamb, atonement (Leviticus 14: 52-53), redemption (Galatians 3:13), salvation (Joshua 2: 18-21)

Yellow:  Faith and glory of God (Romans 4:20), anointing (Exodus 25:6) enlightenment, Joy (Isaiah 55:1; Nehemiah 8:10). The second primary is yellow.Fire which is always used in

the purification process comes in the category of yellow. So once again even though we cannot make yellow, in the same way man has nocontrol over trouble

Blue/ Sapphire: Law/ commandments (Numbers 15:38-41), heaven (Ezekiel 1:26), revealed God (Exodus 24:10), grace (Romans 6:14; Hebrew 4:16), the Priesthood (Exodus 28:31), water of the Word and authority (Ephesians 5:26), prayer, river of God (Revelation 22:1-2; 17), over-comer (1 John 4: 4; Revelation 3:21), living water (John 7:38-39), Holy Spirit, divine revelation (Hebrews 10:15-16) This is the reason heaven above is blue, for it speaks to us of the eternal presence of YAHWEH. The color of God’s chosen nation, the people of Israel, is blue, dating back to the time of David

Green: Praise (1 Chronicles 16:32-34; Psalm 63:3), life (1 John 2:25), health (Genesis 1:30), growth (Genesis 9:3), prosperity (Genesis 30:37-41), restoration (Isaiah 61:3; Psalm 23:2,3) new beginning (Isaiah 27:6; Romans 6:4), fruitfulness (Psalm 52:8; Hosea 14:8), flourishing (Jeremiah 17:8; Ezekiel 17:24; Psalm92:12-15)

kingship (Mark 15:17; John 19: 2), majesty, mediator, wealth (Judges 8:26; Revelation 18:16), authority (Ezekiel 27: 7)In the natural, if we mix red and blue, the result is purple. In the spiritual when we take red (flesh) and blue (Word or power of God) the

result will be purple (royalty or priesthood).

Black/ Onyx: The secret place (Psalm 18:11), darkness, evil, sin, (Zechariah 6: 2; Jude 13; Revelation 6:5;12), earth (Genesis 1) clay, earthen vessels (Jeremiah 18:1-10) affliction,

With love and honor in our Lord Jesus Christ, our wonderful dear caring Savior and Redeemer. In who we Faithfully Abide, Trust, Believe and Abundantly do receive throughout His marvelous righteous Word and truth fulfilling Holy Spirit✝️👑🙏🕊️

Freedom through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Dear Brethren in our Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord almighty is our Saviour and Redeemer in who we faithfully abide, trust, receive and do believe with all our hearts and soul. We are “FREE IN CHRIST” And therefore there is nothing that will silence our life or voice nor the relationship that we have through Jesus Christ. Nothing can take that away from us. We as Christians received freedom over sin and darkness when we become to follow Jesus Christ… We truly can learn and memorize bible passages about freedom in Jesus Christ and so much more… Let us take time to remember that we have been blessed over blessings, through the marvelous righteous Word of God and His truth fulfilling Holy Spirit.

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
2 Corinthians 3:17

Whoever believes in the Son has everlasting life, and whoever refuses to believe the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him”.
John 3:36

All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of anything.
1 Corinthians 6:12

For, brethren, you have been called to liberty. But do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh. Instead, with love serve one another. For the whole Law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbour as yourself”.
Galatians 5:13-14

But the Scripture has included everyone under sin, so that the promise which comes through faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe. But before faith came, we were kept under the Law, confined for the faith that would later be revealed. Therefore the Law was a tutor in charge of us to bring us to Christ that we might be justified by faith. But now that faith has come, we are no longer under this tutor. For you are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female – in Christ Jesus you are all one. And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s offspring, and heirs according to the promise.
Galatians 3:22-2

Therefore stand firm in the liberty for which Christ has set us free, and do not allow yourselves to be tied again to the yoke of bondage.
Galatians 5:1

In Him we have assurance and confident access to God, through faith in Him. Therefore I ask you not to lose heart because of My sufferings for you, which are your glory. For this cause I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that according to the riches of His glory, He would grant you to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner person. so that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith, that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what is its breadth and length and depth and height, and to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fulness of God. Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to him be glory in the church through Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
Ephesians 3:12-21

And I will walk in liberty; for I seek your precepts. I will speak of your testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed. And I will delight myself in your commandments, which I love. I will also lift my hands to your commandments, which I love, and I will meditate on your statutes.
Psalms 119:45-48

So take for yourselves the whole armour of God that you may be able to resist them in the evil day and, having done everything, to stand. Stand, therefore, having your waist girded with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness, and your feet fitted with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Above all, take the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying always in the Spirit with all kinds of prayers and requests, and being alert for this with all perseverance and requests for all saints.
Ephesians 6:13-18

Resist him, firm in the faith, knowing that these same sufferings are being imposed on your brethren that are in the world. But the God of all grace, who has called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, make you perfect, make you stable, strengthen, and establish you. To Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
1 Peter 5:9-11

Therefore, my dear brethren, be firm, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, for you know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15:58

Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you, or be absent, I may hear about you that you are standing firmly in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel, and not at all afraid of your opponents. This is a clear sign to them of their destruction, but to you of your salvation, and that of God. For it has been given to you on behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake, finding yourselves in the same conflict which you saw in my case, and now hear to be in me. Philippians 1:27-30

Watch, stand firm in the faith, be courageous, be strong. All you do should be done with love. 1 Corinthians 16:13-14

Therefore, my brethren dearly loved and longed for, my joy and crown, stand firm in the Lord, my dearly loved ones.
Philippians 4:1

Much love, joy, peace and blessings through Jesus Christ, our almighty dear caring Saviour and Redeemer, in who we faithfully abide, trust, believe and abundantly do receive, throughout His marvelous righteous Word and truth fulfilling Holy Spirit. Amen! ✝️🔥👑🙏🕊️

Psalms 25

To you, O LORD, I lift up my soul. Psalms 25:1

Note and Biblical Scripture Reference on Psalms 25:1- In this psalm we see several features of David’s character which made him a man after God’s own heart. These are prayerfulness (as shown in vers 1,16-22), trust (vers 2), desire to know God’s ways (vers 4,5), hope (vers 5,15,21), confession of sin and dependence on God’s mercy alone (vers 6,7,11,18), desire to give others the truth (vers 8-10,12-14).

O my God, I trust in you. Do not let me be ashamed; do not let my enemies triumph over me.
Psalms 25:2

Yes, let no one who waits on you be ashamed. Let them be ashamed who transgress without cause.
Psalms 25:3

Note and Biblical Scripture Reference on Psalms 25:2-3 – Read Psalm’s 34:5; 37:19;
119:5-6, 80; Isaiah 41:11;
42:17; 44:9-11; 45:16-17, 24; 49:23; and Romans 5:5; 10:11.

Show me your ways, O LORD; teach me your paths.
Psalms 25:4

Note and Biblical Scripture Reference on Psalms 25:4 –
This is a prayer every human being should make to the almighty, sovereign, reigning Heavenly Father, the Creator of Heaven and Earth. What a difference it would make in this confused and sinful world! Any such sincere prayer to our almighty dear Heavenly Father will certainly be heard. He loves to teach His children His righteous ways if they are willing to learn them – Read Psalms 32:8; 71:17; 94:10, 12; Isaiah 2:3; 54:13; Matthew 5:2;
Mark 6:35 and John 6:45; 14:26. We see in this psalm the people that God teaches – believers (vers 5), sinners (vers 8), the humble (vers 9), those who fear the Lord (vers 12). If we do not want God to teach us, it will be no surprise if we remain in ignorance and darkness about spiritual truth…

Lead me in your truth, and teach me; for you are the God of my salvation. On you I wait all the day.
Psalms 25:5

Note and Biblical Scripture Reference on Psalms 25:5 – Believers should pray for God’s guidance and teaching, Read Psalms 27:11; 86:11;
119:12, 26, 33, 64, 66, 108 and Exodus 33:13. What wonderful things we will learn who has God for their teacher! Everyone who is taught of God will come to the Lord Jesus Christ and believe in Him – everyone. Read John 6:45.

Remember, O LORD, your tender mercies and your acts of loving kindness; for they are from ancient times.
Psalms 25:6

Remember not the sins of my youth, or my transgressions. According to your mercy remember me for your goodness’ sake, O LORD.
Psalms 25:7

Note and Biblical Scripture Reference on Psalms 25:7 See vers 11. Read Psalms 18:23. David knows it is only because of God’s mercy, love, and goodness that he has hope and therefore fully trust in God.

Good and upright is the LORD; therefore He will teach sinners in the way.
Psalms 25:8

Note and Biblical Scripture Reference on Psalms –
25:8 If God did not condescend to teach sinners not one of us would ever learn the truth. But God is kind and merciful, He desires to teach His children who honorable abide in Him.

The meek He will guide in judgment, and the meek He will teach His way.
Psalms 25:9

Note and Biblical Scripture Reference on Psalms 25:9- Read Psalms 32:9;
Deuteronomy 8:3; Matthew 11:29 and James 1:21. Those whom God would teach He first humbles, for the proud can hardly learn spiritual truth…

All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth to those who keep His covenant and His testimonies.
Psalms 25:10

Note and Biblical Scripture Reference on Psalms Psalms 25:10- Read Psalms 103:17-18 And Exodus 34:5-7.

For your name’s sake, O LORD, pardon my sin; for it is great. Psalms 25:11

Note and Biblical Scripture Reference on Psalms 25:11- It is to the glory of God’s almighty name to pardon the sins of His people who repent and seek His face. Forgiveness is one of the sweetest words in the language…

Who is the man who fears the LORD? Him He will teach in the way that he chooses.
Psalms 25:12

Note and Biblical Scripture Reference on Psalms 25:12 – “fear of the Lord” Read Genesis 20:11; Psalms 34:11-14 and Proverbs 1:7.

His soul will dwell in prosperity, and his offspring will inherit the earth.
Psalms 25:13

Note and Biblical Scripture Reference on Psalms 25:13 – These were blessings promised under the old covenant. Read Psalms 1:1-3.

The secret of the LORD is with those who fear Him, and he will show them His covenant.
Psalms 25:14

Note and Biblical Scripture Reference on Psalms 25:14 – Spiritual truth can be understood only by those who have the right attitudes toward God (Read Genesis 18:17-19; Proverbs 3:22; Matthew 11:25; Luke 14:25-35; 24:45; John 7:17 and 1 Corinthians 2:11-14).

My eyes are ever toward the LORD, for He will pluck my feet out of the net.
Psalms 25:15

Note and Biblical Scripture Reference on Psalms 25:15 – Read Psalms 16:8; 123:2; 141:8.

Turn to me, and have mercy on me, for I am desolate and afflicted. Psalms 25:16

Note and Biblical Scripture Reference on Psalms 25:16 – Sometimes the believer is alone in his stand for God – Read 1 Kings 18:22; 19:10,
14-18 and 2 Timothy 4:16-17.

The troubles of my heart have grown large. Oh, bring me out of my distresses.
Psalms 25:17

Note and Biblical Scripture Reference on Psalms 25:17 – Troubles of the heart are the most troublesome of all and inward struggles the most grievous of all (Read Psalms 13:2; 73:26; Job 3:20-26; 7:11; 10:1; Prov 14:10 and John 14:1).

Look at my affliction and my pain, and forgive all my sins.
Psalms 25:18

Note and Biblical Scripture Reference on Psalms 25:18 – Evidently David thought that his sins might be the source of his present difficulties. On forgiveness Read Psalms 103:3; 130:4;
Luke 24:46-47; Acts 13:38 and 1 John 1:9.

Consider my enemies, for they are many, and they hate me with cruel hatred.
Psalms 25:19

Note and Biblical Scripture Reference on Psalms 25:19 – Read Psalms 3:1; 23:5…

Oh, keep my soul, and deliver me! Let me not be ashamed, for I put my trust in You.
Psalms 25:20

Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait on You.
Psalms 25:21

Note and Biblical Scripture Reference on Psalms 25:21 – Here are two perfect guards for our life, when we put our hope and faith in God alone.

Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.
Psalms 25:22

And they remembered that God was their rock, and the high God their redeemer.
Psalms 78:35

Note and Biblical Scripture Reference on Psalms 78:35 – The Hebrew word translated here “redeemer” (goel) is used 46 times in the Hebrew Old Testament, sometimes of God, sometimes of men. It had various meanings. A redeemer was one who delivered from trouble and bondage (see Genesis 48:16 and Deuteronomy 13:5); a close relative who would buy a person’s lost property and restore it to him (Read Leviticus 25:25); an avenger of a family member who had been killed (Read Numbers 35:12); a close relative who would marry the widow of a family member and raise up progeny for him, besides buying up her lost property (Read Ruth 2:20); and one who takes the side of his people against oppressors (Read Proverbs 23:11). As Redeemer God saved His people from bondage, restored them to the land, and punished their enemies (Read Isaiah 49:25-26 and Jeremiah 50:33-34).

In the New Testament the word has more spiritual meanings. There the Lord Jesus is the Redeemer. He paid the price to release us from sin’s bondage. The price was His own blood. By His blood believers have forgiveness, freedom, and an glorious eternal inheritance. Jesus stands up for believers against their spiritual enemy satan. He will destroy this one who has brought death on the human race, and will restore to His children all that they lost by falling into satan’s hands. The Lord Jesus has redeemed His children (volk) that collectively they might become His holy, spiritual “bride” to bring forth fruit for God. Read Matthew 20:28; 26:28; Romans 3:24; 7:1-4; 8:23; Galatians 3:13-14; Ephesians 1:7, 14; 4:30; 5:25-33; Colossians 1:14; Hebrews 9:12; 1 Peter 1:4, 18, 19 and Revelation 1:5; 5:9-10; 19:6-9.

8 Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon His name,Make known His deeds among the people. 9 Sing unto Him, sing psalms unto Him, Talk ye of all His wondrous works. 10 Glory ye in His holy name: Let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD. 11 Seek the LORD and His strength,
Seek His face continually.
12 Remember His marvellous works that He hath done,
His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth; 13 O ye seed of Israel His servant,
Ye children of Jacob, His chosen ones.14 He is the
LORD our God; His judgments are in all the earth.
15 Be ye mindful always of His covenant; The word which he commanded to a thousand generations 16 Even of the covenant
which he made with Abraham,
And of his oath unto Isaac;
17 And hath confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, And to Israel for an everlasting covenant,
18 Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan,
The lot of your inheritance;
19 When ye were but few,
Even a few, and strangers in it.
20 And when they went from nation to nation, And from one kingdom to another people; 21 He suffered no man to do them wrong:
Yea, He reproved kings for their sakes, 22 Saying, Touch not mine anointed,And do My prophets no harm. 23 Sing unto the LORD, all the earth;
Shew forth from day to day His salvation.24 Declare His glory among the heathen;
His marvellous works among all nations. 25 For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised: He also is to be feared above all gods. 26 For all the gods of the people are idols: But the LORD made the heavens.
27 Glory and honour are in His presence; Strength and gladness are in His place.
28 Give unto the LORD, ye kindreds of the people, Give unto the LORD glory and strength.29 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto His name: Bring an offering, and come before Him: Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
30 Fear before Him, all the earth: The world also shall be stable, that it be not moved.
31 Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice:
And let men say among the nations, The LORD reigneth.
32 Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof: Let the fields rejoice, and all that is therein.
33 Then shall the trees of the wood sing out at the presence of the LORD,
Because he cometh to judge the earth. 34 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; For His mercy endureth for ever.
35 And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, And gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen,
That we may give thanks to Thy holy name, And glory in thy praise. 36 Blessed be
the LORD God of Israel
For ever and ever. And all the people said, Amen, and praised the LORD.

Remember the former things, things of old.

Zebulun was the sixth son of Jacob by his wife Leah and the tenth of all Jacob’s sons. Zebulun’s birth came during the ongoing rivalry between sistersRachel and Leahfor their husband’s attention. So upon Zebulun’s birth, Leah said, “God has endowed me with a good gift; now my husband will dwell with me, because I have borne him six sons” (Genesis 30:20, NASB). Leah uses a play on words here: “God has endowed (zabad) me with a good gift (zebed), and now my husband will dwell (zabal) with me.” The nameZebulunmeans “dwell” (also translated “honor”) and sounds much like the Hebrew words for “gift” and “endowed.”

The Bible does not provide many details concerning Zebulun’s life. We know that Zebulun was among the older brothers whoconspired to killtheir younger brother, Joseph, because of jealousy (Genesis 37:4). In the end, they did not kill him but sold him to some traders headed to Egypt (Genesis 37:26). Zebulun and his brothers had evil motives, but God used their wicked plan to save the entire nation of Israel (Genesis 50:20). Although Zebulun is not mentioned by name in this account, he had an equal part in the deception and was also present decades later when they were reunited with the brother they thought dead.

Jacob pronounced a blessing on each of histwelve sonsbefore he died. To Zebulun he said, “Zebulun will live by the seashore and become a haven for ships; his border will extend toward Sidon” (Genesis 49:13). Zebulun had three sons: Sered, Elon, and Jahleel (Genesis 46:14). Their descendants became the tribe of Zebulun. Centuries later, the tribe of Zebulun was given an allotment within the Promised Land. Their eastern border was the Sea of Galilee, and their western border eventually stretched to the Mediterranean (Joshua 19:10–16).

Before he died, Moses also blessed the tribe of Zebulun, saying, “Rejoice, Zebulun, in your going out” (Deuteronomy 33:18). Once settled in their land, the tribe of Zebulun became traders and sailors and profited much by the seagoing trade.

During the wandering in the wilderness, the tribe of Zebulun was led by Eliab son of Elon, and they numbered 57,400 (Numbers 2:7). During the time of the judges, the prophetess Deborah advised the commander of the army to take men from Naphtali and Zebulun to go against the enemy (Judges 4:4–7). They were considered brave risk-takers (Judges 5:18).

Although Zebulun’s name is rarely mentioned in Scripture, he was part of the foundation God built for a nation that would one day produce His Son, Jesus Christ. The twelve tribes of Israel, founded in Genesis, are still prominent in the book of Revelation. InRevelation 21:12, John describes the New Jerusalem, and Zebulun is represented: “It had a great, high wall with twelve gates, and with twelve angels at the gates. On the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel.”

Zebulun’s name is inscribed in heaven, not because of the good he did or the life he lived. He is important in heaven because God chose him to be part of His plan to redeem mankind. We can learn from Zebulun’s life that God’s plans far supersede our ideas of why we are here. Despite our mistakes and rebellion, God’s plans go forward (Isaiah 46:9–11). He is working out His will for His creation, and we are each a part of that grand scheme.

The sons of those who afflicted you will also come bending down to you, and all those who despised you will bow down at the soles of your feet; and they will call you, ‘The City of the LORD’, ‘The Zion of the Holy One of Israel’. “Although you have been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through you, I will make you an eternal excellence, a joy for many generations. You will also suck the milk of the Gentiles, and be nursed at the breast of kings. And you will know that I, the LORD, am your Savior and your Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob. Instead of bronze I will bring gold, and instead of iron I will bring silver, and instead of wood bronze, and instead of stones iron. I will also make peace your officials, and righteousness your lords. Violence will be heard in your land no more, nor ruin or destruction within your borders; but you will call your walls ‘Salvation’, and your gates ‘Praise’.By day the sun will be your light no more, and the brightness of the moon will not give light to you; but the LORD will be an everlasting light for you, and your God your glory. Your sun will go down no more, and your moon will not withdraw itself; for the LORD will be your everlasting light, and the days of your mourning will be ended. And all your people will be righteous. They will inherit the land forever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified. A little one will become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation. I the LORD will hasten it in its time”.
Isaiah 60:14-22

Remember the former things, things of old. For I am God, and there is no other. I am God, and there is no one like me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel will stand, and I will do all that I please, Calling a bird of prey from the east, the man from a far country who carries out my purpose. Yes, I have spoken it; I will also cause it to happen. I have purposed it, I will also do it. “Listen to me, you stubborn in heart, who are far from righteousness. I am bringing my righteousness near. It will not be far away, and my salvation will not be delayed. And I will place salvation in Zion for Israel my glory.
Isaiah 46:9-13

How the world was created

Genesis 1:1 – Genesis 2:7

THIS GREAT WORLD in which we live did not always exist. The broad expanse of sky, which smiles upon us when days are fair, and frowns and weeps when days are foul, did not always form an arch above our earth home. Long, long ago there was no world at all. There was no sun to shine, there were no stars to twinkle, nor moonbeams to play through the night shadows. But even then there was God; for He ever has been and always shall be the same unchanging Divine Being. Then, away back in that long ago, at the very beginning of time, God made the world. Not as we see it today, for at first water covered everything, and all was darkness everywhere. What a strange, unfriendly world this must have been, for no living creature could dwell in it! But God planned to make it beautiful, so he caused the light to shine. This light he called Day and the darkness he called Night. And then the evening and morning of the first day of time passed by, On the second day God made the beautiful blue sky, and placed above the water-covered earth clouds to carry the sky moisture. He called the sky Heaven. On the third day He caused the waters to flow together in wide, deep places, and He called them Seas. Dry land then rose up, and this he called Earth. But as yet there were no grasses, flowers, nor trees the whole earth was barren and desolate. So God caused a carpet of grass to grow upon the bare ground and beautiful flowers to spring up from the earth. The trees and herbs also He made to grow at his will. When God beheld all these things He saw that they were good. On the fourth day appeared the great lights which we see in the sky the sun, the moon, and the stars. These He made to divide the day from the night. After these things were made, God began to create living creatures. He made fishes of all kinds and sizes to swim about in the seas and birds of every description to fly about above the water and land, just as we see them doing today. But the world continued to become more delightful, and the fifth day of the first week of time passed by. On the sixth day God made all the animals, great and small, and every creeping thing. Then there was life abounding in the woods and on the plains, as well as in the air and in the sea. What a beautiful world! Still what a strange world, for there were no people in it! Not a home anywhere-not a man, woman, nor little child to be seen. But God had not yet finished his work of creation, for he wished to have people live in the wonderful world He had created. They could enjoy its beauties and take care of it as no other living creature could do. And more, they could know who had made all these great things, and knowing God they could love and worship him. So it was that God made the first man. Out of the dust of the ground He made the man’s body, then he breathed into that body with the breath of life and man became a living soul.  This first man God called Adam, and to Adam He gave the power to rule over all the other living creatures. These animals and birds He brought to Adam, and Adam gave each of them a name. But not one of them did Adam find suitable for a helper, and because he needed a helper very much God created for him a woman. This woman became Adam’s wife, and he loved her very much. He called her name Eve.When the sixth day ended God had created the world so beautiful and had placed everything in it just as He desired it to be according to His will, therefore on the seventh day He rested from His work.

Dear brethren In the Lord Jesus Christ,

For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.

The teaching of the wise is a fountain of life, turning people aside from the snares of death. Good understanding gains favour, but the way of the transgressor is hard.
Proverbs 13:14-15

Proverbs 10:29

The way of the LORD is a stronghold to the upright, but destruction to evildoers.
Proverbs 10:29

We should earnestly pray the prayers of Psalms 25:4-5; 27:11 and 119:12.

“Do not think that I have come to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I have come, not to destroy, but to fulfil them.
Matthew 5:17

note and Biblical Scripture Reference on Matthew 5:17.

 “The Law and the Prophets”– was a term the Jews used to mean the whole Old Testament. The Lord Jesus is saying His teaching was in harmony with the OT, that its laws, types, sacrifices, prophecies pointed to Himself. All its spiritual principles, the full measure of its righteousness is fulfilled by Him. He came to accomplish the whole will of God revealed there. He is the fulfillment of all that the law and the prophets pictured, described, foretold, and promised (of course, this does not mean that all that is in the prophets was fulfilled at His first coming).

With Jesus now on the scene, the Old Testament is a more glorious book with its profound meaning brought to light; without HIM it would be unfulfilled and void of much of its meaning. Read Luke 24:27, 44; John 1:45; 5:39, 46; Acts 3:24-26; 13:27 and 1 Peter 1:10-11. The whole book of Hebrews shows some of the ways in which the Lord Jesus fulfilled the old testament.

“I have come…to fulfil them”– this is one of many reasons why Jesus came from heaven to earth. Read also Matthew 9:13; 10:35; 20:28; Luke 19:10 and John 6:38; 9:39; 10:10-11;12:46.

The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked, my enemies and my foes, came against me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
Psalms 27:1-2.

Note and Biblical Scripture Reference on Psalms 27:1.

It was a time of danger and slander (read vers 12). David needed light so as to know what to do, and protection from enemies. He never dreamed he could make a light for himself out of the kindling of his own imagination, or ever thought his salvation was in his own strength or goodness. He always acknowledged God as the source of everything good. On “light” read Psalms 18:28. On “fear” Read Psalms 23:4.

Note and Biblical Scripture Reference on Psalms
27:2. Read Romans 8:37 and Ephesians 6:10-11. Believers now should have the same confidence (Faith) in God against spiritual foes as David had against human foes…

When asked whom do we trust, there is only one name, the almighty, sovereign reigning name of  our “LORD JESUS CHRIST”. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Ephesians 6:12).

JESUS is our Strong Deliverer, Redeemer, our Rock, Our Shield, our Hiding Place, our Fortress. Halleluyah Halleluyah, Halleluyah, all honor praise and glory to our victorious, majestic, sovereign, righteous, fulfilling reigning King of Kings; our LORD JESUS CHRIST who will fulfills this world with His marvelous righteous Word and truth fulfilling Holy Spirit…
