Matthew 26:41

Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. Matthew 26:41

A friendly and positively sensitive animal regarded as man’s friend is the dog. Its alertness and abilities to detect strange beings and strange atmospheres make it useful and effective as a watch guard. A well trained dog pays attention to the smallest details and is always on guard so that the enemy does not attack it unprepared. Scripture tells us that two contrasting forces are seeking the attention of man God’s Spirit and human’s flesh. The flesh represents cravings or lustful desires that seek to satisfy the human body. The devil takes advantage of these desires, superimposing them on the human mind and tempting us to sin.

The devil, our enemy is looking to catch us off guard creating an avenue for him to attack us as a predator feeds on its prey. That’s why Apostle Peter warns fellow believers to be sensitive and be on the watch. The devil knows his job will be difficult if we are up and doing, fervent in the Spirit. He seeks to take advantage of the weakness of the human flesh, our inability to resist the need to gratify our lustful desires becomes the opportunity he uses to wreak havoc in our lives.

This is why we must seek to walk according God’s will in spirit and in truth to keep the enemy at bay. Being on the alert and watchful requires that we are conscious of the sly and crafty ways of the devil to escape falling into temptation. While we watch, it is important that we prayerfully guard our hearts towards God and trust Him to help us withstand the wiles of the enemy.

Let us pray:

Dear Lord almighty Heavenly Father, I bless You for keeping watch over me. Thank You for keeping me alert  throughout you marvelous righteous Word and Your Holy Spirit. I pray that my ability to perceive things in the Spirit will increase as I study Your Word daily. Help me block every opportunity that the enemy is using to attack my life. Teach me how to temper my desires, Lord. May I receive the grace not to gratify the lust of my flesh but live and walk according to the dictates of the Spirit. I pray this throughout the mighty glorious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

1 John 2:17

And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
1 John 2:17

A lot of people have come to love this world and take pleasure in the things of this world. They live their lives oblivious of death or eternity. Their love for the world has blinded them to the reality of another life after death. They live in ignorance that they are temporary residents of the Earth sent here for a purpose. They live just for the present and are not concerned about what the future holds. They seem not to be aware that this world is temporary and therefore all their desires are also transient and fleeting. Because their hope is in this world, they are indifferent to the message of salvation.

Anyone who believes in the Lord Jesus and is saved has eternal life (as we can read and receive in John 3:16). This eternal life – the life of God – is experienced by the believer here on earth and guarantees him life after the passing of this world. The saved believer being a part of God’s family has a natural inclination to do God’s will out of love for and fear of Him. Obeying God’s commands and doing good works without being saved does not guarantee that one will abide with Him forever. Having observed all the things in the world and realizing they are all vanity, the Preacher concluded in Ecclesiastes 12:13 that everyone who wishes to live forever must fear God and keep His commandments.

Let us Pray:

Dear Lord  almighty Heavenly Father, thank You for the grace to dwell with You forever. Thank You for the gift of salvation and faith in Your beloved dear Son Jesus Christ that offers us the opportunity to live in eternity. Lord, help us to see that everything in this world is vain. Let us put our trust and hope in You alone. Quench our insatiable appetite for the things of this world. Open our eyes of understanding to the knowledge of Your saving grace. Don’t let us be lost in the world, but rather let our hearts be open to receiving Your marvelous righteous word of salvation and be indifferent to the call of Your Spirit. Lord guide us and give us the right discernment of heart to speak throughout You’re love and kindness, help us to embrace the infinite love of Jesus Christ in to this world so that the many dear hearts and souls that not know you will become to receive you while you glorify them throughout your infinite LoVe, JoY and Peace, knowing with a trustworthy peacefully understanding that they will become you’re children and become to receive You as their Saviour and Redeemer.
Let us reign with You Lord and praise you’re glorious fulfilling name till eternity. We pray this through the mighty glorious name of Jesus Christ, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah. Amen.

Psalms 59:9

Because of His strength will I wait upon thee: for God is my defence.
Psalms 59:9

In ancient times, people had fortresses for protection. A fortress was armed to the teeth to make it impenetrable to enemies. It served as protection to the king and his people in times of danger. Even today, living without a defense mechanism is tantamount to recycled pain. The Psalmist sings of his confidence in the Lord Jesus Christ. He is comforted in the knowledge of God’s strength and protection.

We need a fortress we can run into for safety. Proverbs 18:10 says that the name of the Lord is a strong tower the righteous can go and find security from dangers. What dangers are the righteous shielded from? We face many dangers in our daily lives, including attacks from satan in various forms. satan is able to launch assaults on your health, your marriage, your family, your job, your ministry, and everything good God is doing for you. It’s only when we rejoice and trust in the strength of God and make Him our fortress that we are safe from the wiles of the enemy.

The enemy runs around like a roaring lion seeking for whom to devour. But we are not victims when we dwell in the secret place of the Most High and abide under the shadow of His wings.

Prayer:

Dear Lord almighty Heavenly Father, I come to You for help. You have always been my keeper time after time. You infinite love me and care for me through all you’re precious divine ways , that I may not perish but enjoy the fullness of life in all its blessings and favors. I run to You every day because without You, I have no strength to overcome the trials, tribulations, and temptations the enemy throws at me. I know that my life is secure in You. Eternally, I’m safe in the fortress of the Almighty because Your light can never be overcome by the darkness of evil. I know I’m safe in Your hands now and forever. Thank you Lord I can’t think about a life without you and I’m so very grateful and blessed to receive you every single moment of my life. Bless you Lord almighty Heavenly Father and keep me safe and let my heart rejoice from you’re glorious fulfilling name forevermore. I pray this throughout the mighty wonderful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Jude 1:24

Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, Jude 1:24

God is able to keep us from falling into temptations that test our resolve to live righteous lives. Isn’t it amazing how our wonderful dear infinite loving Heavenly Father has expectations of His children, yet He still takes the burden of making us succeed? What an amazing almighty, divine Heavenly Father! His glorious fulfilling name is worthy of our praise forevermore, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah. Amen.

We may have fears about failing in righteousness. We may sincerely love God and want to serve and obey Him, yet fear that we may fail Him. We don’t have to harbor such fears because this verse declares God’s stance on the matter of righteousness and salvation. All we have to do is trust God and His mighty wonderful ways to keep you from stumbling, and believe that God is able to save you from sin that severs your relationship with Him. God is willing and able to help you do all that He expects of you. He can strengthen you to live a holy and acceptable life in this corrupt world. Just as Lot was preserved in a land of sin and iniquity, God is committed to making believers prosper in holiness.

You need to realize that God is intentional about your Salvation. He’s the author and finisher of your faith. He starts the journey with you and takes you safely through it until you come out victorious over the world.

Prayer:

Dear almighty Heavenly Father, I’m so excited by the revelation of Your commitment to my spiritual preservation. In the world, there are many obstacles to my righteousness, but You have made it a point to me from stumbling. If not for You, where would I have been? You keep my salvation secure and guaranteed. You protect me from the insurrection of evil and everything that can trouble my soul. In You, I am safe and secure, standing without fear of the day that I see You face to face. You have given me life, and this life is sustained by You.
Thank You Lord almighty Heavenly Father, for you’re infinite love, You deserve all honor, praise and glory forevermore. Amen.

Psalms 106:48

Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the LORD. “Psalms 106:48′

The psalmist concludes Psalm 106 with a final call to praise the Lord, the God of Israel, for His steadfast love and faithfulness to His people. The psalm recounts the history of Israel’s rebellion against God, but it also reveals God’s constant mercy towards them. The final verse acknowledges that the Lord alone is worthy of praise, and it is a fitting end to a psalm that both acknowledges the sins of the people and celebrates God’s unwavering love for them.

David’s recollection in this section, starting with suffering and pain, touches on various emotions as he remembers God’s covenant with Abraham and his descendants. He reflects on the nation’s early days, Joseph’s ascension to power, and the Plagues of Egypt, which led to the Passover, the Exodus, the journey through the wilderness, their entry into the Promised Land, and the numerous occasions of Israel’s disobedience.

David, the Psalmist, concludes this fourth section with a warning against ingratitude, murmuring, self-will, idolatry, and disobedience. Despite this, he ends on a joyful note, offering much of praise and thanksgiving in response to the rapturous rejoicing that he experiences. AMEN! Praise the LORD!

Prayer:

Dear almighty Heavenly Father, I give thanks to You and praise Your holy name, for You are good and Your mercy endures forever. As I reflect on Your faithfulness throughout history, I am reminded of Your steadfast love for Your people. Help me to remember Your covenant and to trust in Your promises. May the earth be filled with Your glory as the waters cover the sea, and may I live each day in the light of Your grace and truth. I pray this throughout the mighty glorious name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Joshua 1:11

Pass through the host, and command the people, saying, Prepare you victuals; for within three days ye shall pass over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land, which the LORD your God giveth you to possess it. “Joshua 1:11′

As Joshua assumed leadership of the Israelites, he received a word from the Lord, directing him to lead the people into the land that He had promised to their forefathers. God’s instructions were very clear: the Israelites were to cross the Jordan River, take possession of the land, and drive out the inhabitants of the land. In response to God’s command, Joshua gave orders to the officers of the people, preparing them for the task that lay ahead.

As Joshua was confronted with the challenge of leading the Israelites into the Promised Land, we too are faced in similar dilemma to battle for our faith in God. Each day, we must fight to maintain our trust in God’s marvelous righteous Word and to believe that His promises are fulfilled through Jesus Christ. We must fully accept that the battle is not ours but the Lord’s, and that our victory has already been secured through Jesus Christ.

Christians are not only saved by faith but are also called to live by faith in through the Son of God. We are to base our decisions and actions not on our feelings, intuition, or any other human reasoning, but on our trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. May we walk in the Spirit and in truth, continually surrendering our own understanding and submitting to His guidance.

Prayer:

Dear almighty Heavenly Father, I thank and bless You for Your marvelous righteous Word that reminds me that the battle is not mine but Yours. Help me to always remember that victory comes through faith in You. Strengthen me to fight the good fight of faith each day and to trust in Your great wonderful fulfilling promises. I pray that You grant me the grace to rely on You completely and not on my own understanding. Thank You, Lord dear Heavenly Father, for being my strength and my shield. I pray throughout the mighty glorious healing name of you’re son Jesus Christ. Amen!

The LORD bless you,
and keep you. The LORD make His face
shine on you, and be gracious to you.
The LORD lift up His countenance
on you, and give you peace.
“Numbers 6:24-26′

Hebrews 1:13

But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? Hebrews 1:13

In this verse, the writer of Hebrews quotes Psalm 110:1 to show that Jesus Christ is not just any angel, but is seated at the right hand of God the almighty Heavenly Father, in a position of supreme authority and power. The verse emphasizes the superiority of Jesus Christ to the angels, affirming His divinity and sovereign rule over all things.

Indeed, it was the humble and meek Son of Man who, by His sacrificial death and glorious resurrection, established the earth and formed the heavens from the beginning. And a day will come when the heavens will pass away with a roar, the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and all the works done on it will be laid bare. The Son Himself will fold them up like a garment, and they will be replaced by a new heaven and a new earth.

At this very moment, Jesus Christ is seated at the right hand of God the almighty Heavenly Father, awaiting the day when He will return in power and great glory, for He is the Almighty God. He is the only Prince of Peace, the Messiah of Israel, and the Saviour of the world. He alone died and rose again, triumphing over satan, sin, death, and hell.

Dear almighty Heavenly Father, I am in awe of Your sovereign, reigning power and the majesty of Your beloved only begotten Son Jesus Christ, who sits at Your right hand in heaven. I praise you Lord almighty Heavenly Father that Jesus Christ is worthy of all glory, honor, and praise, for He alone is the Savior of the world. I pray that You would help me to remember that everything in this world will one day pass away, but Your Son’s Kingdom will endure forever. May I live my life in a way that honors and glorifies Your sovereign, majestic reigning name, and may I look forward to the day when Your only begotten beloved Son Jesus Christ returns in His power and great glory. Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah. I pray this throughout the mighty glorious name of you’re Son Jesus Christ. Amen.
