1 John 4:15

Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. “1 John 4:15′

When we gave our lives to Jesus Christ, we were saved by believing in our hearts and confessing with our mouths. We became adopted members of God’s family, being justified and made righteous by the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ. We come into communion with God by faith through the agency of prayer and by studying the marvelous righteous Word of God. No one can know you better than the members of your family because of the closeness in the relationship. Our fellowship with God through the Holy Spirit makes it possible for us to confess that Jesus Christ is the only begotten glorious Son of God.

As this verse confirms, a believer who abides in God is saved, enjoys fellowship with Him, and God dwells within them. The abiding presence of God lives with us through the Holy Spirit upon our conversion. We remain in Him by obeying His commands and doing His precious divine will. We become like Him through constant fellowship during which we exchange our old way of life for His eternal life. As we deepen and strengthen our relationship with Him, He reveals Himself to us and we become effective witnesses that Jesus Christ is our mighty wonderful dear caring Lord, Saviour and Redeemer. Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah. All honor praise and glory to our mighty glorious Lord off Lord’s, majestic King of Kings, who reigns and is to come to fulfill His glorious new Kingdom, the new Jerusalem. Amen!

Let us pray:

Dear Lord almighty Heavenly Father, thank You for accepting me into Your family by faith. Help me to remain rooted in You and protect me from all the distractions of the world. Grant me the grace to live above the domineering power of sin every day Lord. Help me become an effective witness to Your greatness and reveal Jesus Christ to the world as the Son of God. Let me continually desire to commune with You until I conform to the image of Your Son Jesus Christ. Thank you dear Lord, almighty Heavenly Father. Psalms 130:2

Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications. “Psalms 130:2′

Have you ever been in a situation where you were unable to help yourself and felt a sense of desperation? Have you been deep in trouble and it seems like there’s no way out? Usually, pride or ego makes it quite difficult for humans to seek help when in trouble or distress. Our ability to be creative in finding solutions to our problems sometimes gives us the notion that we are self sufficient and self dependent. However, when we realize that we have hit rock bottom, we tend to exhibit desperation in our call for help. Overwhelming situations have a way of exposing our vulnerabilities and humbling us, which helps break the defense that our ego has built around us.

The above verse is a desperate plea for help, a cry for attention coming from a strong desire to be heard by God. It is a plea made out of humbleness of heart without a sense of self righteousness and arrogance. When we are overwhelmed with life issues and get tired, we can turn to God to save us. Many times because we need help urgently, we get into panic mode when we don’t get an immediate response and assume that God did not hear us. God certainly will hear our voice and cry, every unsaid request and the most secret desire of our hearts, and will always answer us.

Let us pray:

Dear Lord almighty Heavenly Father, I thank You because You hear and answer my prayers. I am thankful that I can pour out my troubles and frustrations at Your feet, knowing with a trustworthy peacefully understanding that You will take care of all my needs. I am glad and grateful that nothing is impossible for You to do. Help me to be less self righteous when approaching You with my heart desires, and to trust in You completely with all my heart. Because of Your mercy, You will hear my voice when I call upon You, and send me answers throughout you’re precious, divine, fulfilling ways. In the name of Your beloved dear Son Jesus Christ I will give You all the honor, praise and glory forevermore. Amen.

Much LoVe, JoY,  Peace and Blessings through Jesus Christ, our wonderful, almighty, dear infinite loving Lord, Saviour and Redeemer, in who we faithfully abide, trust, believe and abundantly do receive, throughout His marvelous righteous Word and His truth fulfilling Holy Spirit.

Luke 21:19

In your patience possess ye your souls.
“Luke 21:19′

Have you ever suffered rejection or hate simply because you have differing beliefs from others? Have you been publicly or secretly persecuted because of your faith? During the history of the Bible days, believers were severely persecuted for professing Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. They were punished, hated, and threatened. Some were even martyred all for the sake of the gospel. This was done to make them deny their faith and turn back from following the Lord. Similar acts of persecution have risen against believers all over the world today.

There are a lot of events around us that mount pressure on believers to withdraw their faith and stop being followers of Jesus Christ. People are tempted every day to sin against God. Nations make laws and policies that make life difficult and miserable, which might lead one to sin. Each day comes with its own woes. However, it is up to us to decide whether we will succumb to the pressure to sin or choose to remain in solidarity with our mighty glorious JESUS CHRIST, as our wonderful dear, infinite loving LORD Saviour and Redeemer.

A life of pain and hardship would not be easy, but those who endured them with patience will be saved for eternity.
Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, all honor, praise and glory to our almighty, majestic, sovereign reigning Heavenly Father forevermore.

Let us pray:

Dear LORD almighty Heavenly Father, thank You for the assurance that I am not alone and that I will not be abandoned in any situation I find myself in. I pray that You grant me the grace to follow You to the end without compromising my faith. I ask that You’re Holy Spirit teach me to persevere through the hardships and trials that will come my way because of my decision to follow You. May I receive inner strength to rise above every temptation that will cause me to deny You by committing sin. Help me to be true to You and to stand strong for You at all times, what ever situation I may face. I pray this throughout the mighty glorious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Much LoVe, JoY, Peace and Blessings, through Jesus Christ, our almighty, wonderful, dear infinite loving Lord, Saviour and Redeemer, in who we faithfully abide, trust, believe and abundantly do receive throughout His marvelous righteous Word and His truth fulfilling Holy Spirit.

John 13:15

For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.
“John 13:15′

The first learning environment for every child is home. The belief system of an individual which shapes his thought pattern, attitude, ideology and his personality is formed in the family. Children often learn from their parents through careful observation and imitation. Apprentices of arttisans learn from their masters by observing and imitating them. To ensure the continuity of any value system, leaders in every field are expected to be exemplary for people to follow in their steps.

Just as Jesus Christ imitated His Father by doing what the latter did, we are expected to do the same as proof that we are His disciples. Believers who are genuine followers of Jesus Christ will imitate Him, follow His lead and do the things that Jesus Christ did. Our lives should exemplify Jesus to the unbelieving world. The nature and character of God, which Jesus Christ modeled, should be evident in our way of living as children of God. Just as children imitate their parents, we should emulate God. As we study the marvelous righteous Word of God and pay attention to the instructions of the Holy Spirit, we become like Him and model the character of God as His children.

Let us pray:

Dear Lord, almighty Heavenly Father, thank You for the privilege to be not just a child of God but also a follower of Jesus Christ. Thank You for the gift of Jesus, through whom You have revealed Your nature and character to me. Grant me strength and wisdom, Lord, to follow You wholeheartedly. Help me to love others as You love me. Teach me to deny my own desires and to be a good example to others in all that I do. I pray this throughout the mighty glorious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Psalms 107:8

Oh that men would praise the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! “Psalms 107:8′

This Psalm of thanksgiving and praise expresses the goodness of God and His everlasting mercy, as demonstrated through personal and national history. The Psalmist reflects on how God rescued His people from bondage, provided for them in the wilderness, released the captives, healed the sick, calmed the storms, and governed Israel with grace. All of these wonderful works of God are celebrated in this beautiful song of rejoicing.

As believers, we can also sing this song of praise and thanksgiving because we too have been rescued from the bondage of sin and have received the gift of the Holy Spirit to guide and conform us to the image of Christ. God has supplied all our needs according to His riches in glory and has set our feet on the pathway of peace and righteousness. Our almighty dear wonderful Heavenly Father hears and responds to our cries for help, satisfies and refreshes our soul, and leads us on  the path of His precious, devine righteous ways.

The Psalmist invites us to join in giving thanks to the Lord for His marvelous righteous works to the children of men. Let us praise the Lord with all our hearts, minds, and souls, and declare His glorious goodness to all those around us. May we never forget the countless ways that God has shown us His infinite love, mercy, and grace, and may we always be quick to give our majestic, sovereign reigning Heavenly Father the honor and glory that He deserves.

Let us pray:

Dear Lord almighty Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your steadfast infinite love that never fails. You have satisfied the hunger of my soul and led me on the path of righteousness. When I was lost, You found me; when I was in need, You provided for me. You have blessed me beyond measure and have been my constant source of strength and hope. Help me to always trust in You and give You the praise and honor You deserve.
Our Father who is in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

1 Peter 2:2

As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: “1 Peter 2:2′

In this verse, the apostle exhorts believers to crave the marvelous righteous Word of God, that they may grow and mature in their faith. This verse highlights the importance of regularly feeding on the Scriptures, which provide nourishment for the soul and enable us to live out our calling as children of God.

As newborn believers, we are called to grow in our faith and this growth is fueled by the truth fulfilling Word of God. Just as a newborn baby requires milk to develop and thrive, we must desire and consume the nourishing Word of God in order to grow spiritually. It is a daily process of feeding on the truth of Scripture, allowing it to shape and transform our hearts and minds.

Through the Lord Jesus Christ, God has spoken to us and given us a written record of His marvelous righteous Word in the Scriptures. It is not enough to simply read the Bible, but we must also apply its principles to our lives, being doers of the Word and not just hearers. And as we grow, trust and believe by being obedient to God’s Word, we are called to share it with others so that they too may hear, receive and believe in Jesus Christ, all through the honor and glory of God our majestic sovereign reigning Heavenly Father who deserve to be praised forevermore.

Let us pray:

Dear Lord almighty Heavenly Father, I thank You for the privilege of being born again into Your family. Help me to desire Your marvelous righteous Word more than anything else in this world. As I meditate on Your Word, please open my eyes to see the great mysteries that are hidden within. Give me a hunger for Your Word, that I may grow in my faith and love for You. Thank You for providing me with everything I need to live a godly life, through the knowledge of Your Son, Jesus Christ. I pray this throughout the mighty glorious name of Jesus Christ. Amen

1 John 4:13

Hereby know we that we dwell in Him, and He in us, because He hath given us of His Spirit. 1 John 4:13

In his first letter to the churches, the Apostle John emphasizes the importance of love and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. In chapter 4, he writes about the assurance that comes from knowing that we have the Spirit of God living in us. Through the Spirit’s presence, we can have confidence that we belong to God and that He is working in us to produce His fruit in our lives. This verse serves as a reminder of the Holy Spirit’s role in our lives as believers.

In the Old Testament, the Holy Spirit would empower certain individuals for specific ministries or offices, but could withdraw if the person grieved or disobeyed the Lord. Even the presence of God left the temple in Jerusalem due to Israel’s disobedience. However, in this Church dispensation, every believer in Jesus Christ receives the incomparable gift of the permanently indwelling Holy Spirit as proof that we live in Him and He in us.

Despite no one having seen God, the Father sent the Holy Spirit to work through all who trust in the Son for Salvation by grace through faith. This miraculous gift allows us to live in constant communion with God and fulfill His purposes in our lives.

Let us pray:

Dear Lord almighty Heavenly Father, I thank You for the gift of Your Holy Spirit who dwells within me and testifies to my spirit that I belong to You. Help me to recognize the importance of this precious gift and to be sensitive to the leading of Your Spirit. May Your love be perfected in me and may I be a vessel through which Your love is shown to others. I pray that You will guide me by Your Holy Spirit to live a life that is pleasing to You and that brings glory to Your name. I pray this throughout the mighty glorious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

John15:25

But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause. John 15:25

In this verse, Jesus is preparing His disciples for the opposition and persecution they will face as His followers. Jesus explains that the hatred of the world towards Him and His disciples is without cause, as it is rooted in their rejection of both Him and His Father. The disciples are to understand that they will face persecution not because of anything they have done, but because of their association with Jesus Christ.

During His time on earth, Jesus lived a perfect, sinless life that stood in stark contrast to those who rejected and hated Him. His purity exposed their evil and His grace revealed the hardness of their hearts and rebellion against God. However, this was all foreknown by the Lord who turned Israel’s rejection of Christ into an opportunity for us to become sons of God through faith in Jesus Christ.

As believers, we have the vital responsibility of carrying on the ministry of reconciliation that was entrusted to the apostles. Even though the world will always hate and persecute us, both Jewish and Gentile believers, we must be willing to boldly proclaim the marvelous righteous Word of God, speak the truth in love, and defend the hope we have in Jesus Christ.

Let us pray:

Dear Lord almighty Heavenly Father, I thank You that You came to this world to show us you’re infinite love and to save us from our sins. I pray that I may never reject Your perfect life, which exposed the sinfulness of humanity. I ask for Your strength to endure any hatred or persecution that may come my way as a follower of You. Help me to boldly proclaim the message of reconciliation and love those who oppose me. Thank You for giving me hope and the assurance of eternal life and for all you’re blessed wonderful ways that I received from You very glad, and gratefully. I pray this throughout the mighty glorious name of Jesus Christ, my Saviour and Redeemer. Amen.
