Psalms 34:1

(A Psalm of David, when he changed his behaviour before Abimelech; who drove him away, and he departed.) I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. “Psalms 34:1

In this delightful, verse, David promises to give praise to the Lord at all times. This psalm was probably inspired by his escape from a dangerous situation. Even so, he remained committed to praising the Lord regardless of the circumstances. All the time, the Lord is good. Regardless of whether a given moment is difficult or enjoyable, we should praise the Lord. It is He who comforts us in our sorrow, and it is He who helps us to endure all adversities.

The Lord is worthy of our continued worship and devoted praise. Every aspect of our lives should be devoted to giving Him our grateful thanks and putting our full trust in Him. Having Him at the center of our lives enables us to focus on His power and abilities rather than our own inabilities since He knows His grace is sufficient and His strength is made perfect by our dependence upon Him.

Keeping our hearts right before the Lord is essential if we desire to bless Him at all times and under all circumstances. The key to being a man or woman after God’s own heart is to say and do only what honor His name, for only He is worthy. Our relationship with the Lord grows stronger as we devote more time to praying, praising, and studying His marvelous righteous Word. The more time we devote our time to the Lord, the greater the benefits we will experience.

Let us pray:

Dear Lord, almighty Heavenly Father, we thank You for the truths You have given us in Your Word. Like David, I pray that I will bless You at all times and in all circumstances. Every aspect of my life should be filled with gratitude and worshipful praise no matter how mundane. At all times and in all things, I pray that I will glorify You.
Thank you dear Lord, almighty Heavenly Father. I pray this throughout the mighty, glorious, fulfilling name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Much LoVe, JoY, Peace and Blessings through Jesus Christ, our almighty, wonderful dear Lord, Saviour and Redeemer.
