Romans 8:24

For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? “Romans 8:24′

“Hope”– See reference in Romans 5:2. The Greek word for hope as Paul and other writers of the New Testament used it, has a much stronger meaning than the English word hope commonly has. It means a confident expectation that what our almighty dear caring Heavenly Father has revealed as coming in the future, will come, that His promises will be fulfilled. It is the other side of faith. See also in Titus 2:2 and Peter 1:21.

Have you ever dreamed of something you were excited about and all you knew you needed was to wait patiently? That’s what hope is. It is the belief that something you anticipate will come.

Why you needed hope was because what you desired wasn’t present at the moment. For example when you have a bike and you’re right behind the steering, you don’t go on hoping you have a bike. But when you’ve paid for a new bike and the shipping company says it will come in 7 days, then you may need to hope they
deliver on their word. Why? Because you don’t see it yet but believe it will come.

That’s the same way when we trust and align our hope in Jesus Christ works. When we keep our hope in His promised, fulfilling eternal salvation to which we have been sealed by the Holy Spirit, we wait patiently for something very great to come. It means there is a part of reality we haven’t experienced yet. There is so much to be hopeful for. Now, we may not see everything working flawlessly yet, but the great promise is that when put our hope, trust based on Jesus Christ, the Lord start fulfilling His miracles, glorious healing ways in our life;  sickness, pain, poverty, lack, and every manifestation of sinfulness will dissipate. In this, our hope and faith must remain steadfast as we anticipate to receive the great, glorious fulfilling characteristics of our almighty infinite loving dear Lord, Jesus Christ.

O love the LORD, all ye His saints: for the LORD preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer. Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD. “Psalms “31:23-24′
